Atkinson Consulting is a partner to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) supporting its mission under various sub-prime contracts for Public Assistance (PA).
The Public Assistance program supports recovery operations primarily for debris removal, emergency protective measures, and the repair, replacement, or restoration of disaster-damaged, publicly-owned facilities, such as: roads, bridges, municipal buildings, police and fire stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, etc., including Private Non-Profit facilities such as hospitals. Atkinson Consulting provides professional and non-professional services to FEMA to support implementation of the PA Program.
As part of the disaster recovery efforts, technical expertise is required to determine damages and a scope of work to repair.
These assessments are completed by Atkinson Consulting experts in the fields of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Coastal and Environmental Engineers, Architects, Planners, Construction Managers and Building Inspectors.
The total estimated project costs are developed by Atkinson Consulting construction cost estimators. Our estimators are experienced, and FEMA trained.
